ROAD CLOSED ALERT

The A1 northbound will be closed between the junctions with the A168 and the A6136 Catterick South due to bridge repairs, from 6 pm Saturday 7 May 2011 to 1 pm Sunday 8 May 2011.
Please bear this in mind when planning your journey.

WE ARE RUNNING

it has just been decided that we ARE running. despite being short of only a few entries.. it is all go.
    This decision has been taken mainly due to the huge support of the competitors who have already entered or pledged an entry. We have a great event as testified by crews and we are doing everything to keep this going during what is a poor financial climate effecting many motorsport events.
    The whole organising team would like to thank everyone for their support and offers of help not to lose a quality forest rally for good. It takes a lot of time, effort, dedication and personal finance to run a forest rally and it means a lot to know competitors are on our side.
    We hope entries are still forthcoming over the course of this week which will ease further the financial burdon. The main thing is, the 2011 Tour of Hamsterley Rally will definately run next Sunday 8th May.

Entries coming in

The first entries have arrived only 24 hours after the regulations have been published. Get your entries in early please we do appreciate it. It is of great help to the organisers if the entries are submitted early as it helps us with our preperations of time schedules etc.

Route & Service

Pattersons have confirmed they will be preparing notes in the two weeks prior to the rally once grading work is completed....

Management service - we have allowed management service this year due to the more distant nature of the service area - the option is available in the regs to allow you to choose the best option or both to suit your own requirements.

Road section route has been approved and permit issued.

Co Drivers Required

We also have further experienced drivers looking for co drivers to compete on the event.
